I was just wondering what the communities views on credits are. I mean i quite like the credit system as i like being able to earn points and spend them on various things. In halo reach i felt that there wasn’t enough to buy with your credits, so could anybody think of anything else they could be spent on. Also some things in the armory in reach were way over priced.
Also would you like to see the credit system return, improved or not at all?

I feel that in today’s gaming culture that we as gamers want to have a system in place to feel that we have achieved something.
Even if it is just a little bit of code that says that we have put way too much time into a video game.
If there is some kind of credit or XP system, they need to make it so once you get everything you don’t keep getting credits that are useless. Or they make it so there is always something that you can get with your credits or XP.
I wouldn’t mind a credit system returning and simply more items to buy in the Armoury. I do not want credits to be the games ranking system though, just a currency system. If credits had to be used in the ranking system, my idea is that credits act like EXP in Halo 3, you could have 10000 EXP but without that 50 highest skill, you couldn’t reach top rank.
Keep it in the armory and I have no issues.
Cosmetic stuff does not change gameplay so that should be ok.
Credits for the armory? Fine.
Credits as a ranking system? Hell no.
As long as the credits don’t ask like they do in Reach, and as you earn points, you work your way up in the rank.
But if we get credits for ranking up, and finishing missions, that would be nice.
You could probably spend your Spartan points on an XP boost or double xp. Or maybe on CaMoS 4 Ur GuNz.

Well, it’s been confirmed that you gain Spartan Points from Spartan Ops when you complete missions.
Can’t stand the credit system, there is nothing fun about it.
