opinion

now people will probably complain about the game because “343 MESSED UP, i’ll never play another game by them again!” my only response is why? I love halo 4 it had an amazing story (a little pro human), spops was a neat idea and i like the matchmaking (judging im not a big competitive guy)

back onto the point about this being 343’s first game:
Its a great game for a first game sure there were some flaws but it was still good. If you say you won’t play 343’s games then that’s your choice it sort of similar to how zelda skyward sword wasn’t my favorite game, I’ll try the next zelda game because i have faith in nintendo so i have faith in 343

343 can improve and I eagerly await the next halo game

bravo 343, bravo

but 343 can improve THIS game…this isn’t 1993 where the game released and that was it, no updates no patches no nada

Personally, I liked all the Halo games which I have played. 1, 2, 3, and 4.
However, I just realized something.

I, more so than most others, have every reason not to.

I bought 4 original Xbox’s with warranty, and 4 copies each of every system link games that I could find within that 1st year.
Yet after spending countless hrs on the phone with XBSupport over DDE, then placing one xbox after another, week after week into Fed Ex boxes, only to see them returned some 7 day later and still not working, and then doing it all over again? Grrr!
Then they replaced 2 of my xbox with used ones, (Third times the charm) and 1 soon fried (internal power board)

I swore off MS products.

Began repairing my own xbox’s using others for parts, and bought 4 copies of H2. Played system link on them, all the way up to around the end of 2011 with no hassles, Except for controller cords, which I soon learned to repair as well.

It was in 2011 that my son received an xbox slim as a BD gift from his aunt (Sure, I kept up with all the problems 360’s were having online. >RROD<) So I got him, and me H4.

Then after reading all the “Halo is dead” etc threads, combined with all the negativity my son gets while playing with people in War games, (he is playing Swat as I type) I will not be buying a Halo 5, nor any New online enabled game until our XBL account is up for renewal. Then he can have used ones with which to play campaigns ONLY.

Halo 4’s competitive/casual players are not good sport IMHO. Isn’t that, in and of itself, reason enough not to like a game? Yet we both like playing it!
