Achieving max SR in Halo 5 at 152 nets you the Watchdog armor coating. For those that are going for max rank in MCC, should they receive an exclusive coating as well?

Yes. To get the max rank on MCC will take and eternity if there’s a reward on day 1.

It’s not supposed to be attainable by everyone. For instance, it’s impossible for PC players to rank up in Halo 5 as they can only play custom games and forge so reaching 152 is out of the question. At least with MCC on PC, they would have a chance at being rewarded for their grind.

I’m not sure after the challenges on MCC got a XP boost. But it was made clear via people doing math that max rank on mcc was impossible for another couple of years.

If that’s the case, then maybe there should be a deadline well after Infinites release.

Still a terrible idea. 343’s Infinite customization team has already stated that they will not make Infinite a grindfest, which is exactly what attaining SR-152 entails. I’m 75% of the way there and probably the worst H5 player who will unlock Watchdog. If they want to do something with MCC where you actually EARN a reward, great. But mindlessly droning out for months and months on another game is not appealing at all.

I remember watching a video where they did the math and it’s supposed to take years to get max rank in MCC.
The only reason I think there shouldn’t be a reward for max rank is because the current exp requirement is so unhealthily high, that I don’t want people to get legitimately ill trying to play MCC 24/7 for months and maybe even years. As someone above said, I think 700/700 achievements is a far more reasonable requirement for a reward.
As someone who’s going for 700/700 on MCC I think it would be really cool to get a reward for it on Infinite. Or even something for LASO Master outside of the MCC nameplates would be cool to see, similar to the og Helioskrill but for LASO
Bad idea. So far they can’t even release a finished game. No coop, assassinations and forge at launch… This is
ridiculous.
What game was supposed to be launched last year? Halopunk 2077???
There is a lot more wrong and missing than updated/polished graphics. Maybe delay another year to launch a good game? The big ad campaign with the new consoles was last year and nobody cares about some Halo Anniversary date this year, if the game blows.
