Operator helmet visor oddity

As you all know, in Halo 4, they ditched the attachment variants system for armor pieces in favor of different paint jobs. The models don’t change whatsoever, but most armors give you two or three alternate paint variants just for an added bit of variation.
However, I’ve found one helmet that doesn’t fit the mold.
For whatever reason, the two versions of the Operator helmet in Halo 4 have completely different textures and finishes for their visors. The first variant of it has a very standard one which looks like the rest of them in terms of glossiness and finish, but the other version of it has a strange, different texture and design for the visor that almost looks as if it’s a similar texture to the MK V or ODST’s distinct visor finish.
I looked at every single other helmet in the game with a fine eye for detail and none of the other variants change the visor in this way. It’s completely unique to the Operator helmet. So, what are your thoughts as to why this is like this? A glitch? Maybe more variants were planned to change the visor of the helmet? It’s such a strange, specific thing to only have on this one helmet.

The original game had this too. Just an oversight with the texture.
