OPERATION: BEDINKA ONE

TALITSA
BEDINKA, KURGAN CYN.
MST 1600 - FIRST DEPLOYMENT
This is the last known location of an UNSC Convoy. The convoy was reported to have stopped after Corporal W. Wanders found an unidentified corpse with LIES carved into the skin of the forehead. Private First Class T. Dornth briefly radioed an caution of high winds and an unclear mining facility sited northwest of their location. A whistling sound was heard following with 20 seconds of gunfire then radio silence. It has been 4 hours since last contact with the Convoy. Satellite video feed from the UNSC Meriwether Lewis show an isolated boxed canyon that the remaining Warthogs drove into during the firefight before loosing visuals completely. The convoy of 7 Warthogs need to be recovered and the area scouted for the insurrectionist holdout presumed to be there based on geographical data sent to the navigational officer by an ONI undercover operative that is suspected to be the unidentified corpse found. Good luck Marines—
