Opening build order...

I’m no expert so don’t take my advice like I’m some person trying to preach…but I’ve found a new opening build order some Brazilian dude helped me with and it’s worked a lot so far.

Supply. Gen. Marine.
Upgrade supply.
Have all 3 marines go for supply packs at the start. I used to straight for power packs. Depending on the map, maybe take a garrison close to the opponent.
2nd Gen.
Have 3 marines go straight for nearest power nodes.
Supply.
Supply.

Tech 2 comes faster than ever with this build. Thoughts?!

ya its pretty good for countering chopper spam byt getting tech 2 and a few cyclops is not enough

What Division are you?

I am only Plat/Dim. About 90% of the time I go Gen/Sup/Sup/Mini and either all Supply or one more Gen as I wait for Tech 2. Than I build either 2 garages or 2 airpads.

You can do:
Supp>Gen>Supp>Marine>Marine>Supp> Baracks, upgrade 2 supplies. (cutter start)
Sup>Gen (upgrade)>Sup>Gen (upgrade)>Marine>Marine>Armory This is what I do on almost everyone else but Kinsano, I use cutter’s for her.

I am no expert but as a Cutter main I typically open with:
Supply-Marine send my two starting marines after two power clusters.
Send third marine to pick up supply clusters near base.
Gen-Upgrade first Supply Pad
Supply-Upgrade first Gen-Supply-marine
Mini Base-Barracks on main base-Gen on mini base
Marines and 5 hellbringers until I get to tech 2. This is where things get different based on what opponent is doing and what hero they are. Sometimes I go snipes before tech 2 and more hellbringers if facing another Cutter, otherwise I go roll and take nodes as soon as I get 5 marines out and start killing mini bases with my hellbringers.

I am not an expert, but it typically keeps me in the game and doing some work. If playing a banished guy and I see a chopper anywhere I cease spending power until I get tech 2 and start pumping Cyclops. I usually only upgrade one supply pad and one generator until I get to tech 2. Somewhere in there I build a 2 watchtowers and a turret. I like watchtowers for early warning and some maps you can snag expo’s and mini bases without sending units that way.

I’ve seen flayerr do this in one of his videos.

Couple of issues:
No scouting capabilities.
Early game vulnerability.

If you go un scouted yes, you will get T2 really fast.

I always go:

Generator, upgrade when finished
Grunt
Supply Pad, upgrade after about 10 seconds
Chopper
Supply pad
Supply Pad
Generator
Mini-Base
Tech two
Add supply pad to Mini
Mini base with supply pad.

I usually start teching between 2:35 and 2:50 depending on power crates grabbed.
