I forgot to mention that the first 2 or 3 minutes (his halo spoof) is ridiculously unfunny and boring, so I recommend skipping. Once he starts actually talking though, It’s spot on! and YES the entire 40 minutes is worth it for those players that don’t quite understand a lot of the uproar the the community has been making in regards to certain criticisms.
I got bored after two minutes, do you really expect people to watch a 40 minute video?
Anybody can get on YouTube and say some controversial stuff against a new game to get lots of views (and money).
I like Joe’s points but -Yoink!- do his intros drag on for too long.

I can’t take this guy seriously. He blatantly takes the side of popular opinion for the sake of views. Look at how he opened complaining that he couldn’t find co op. It was announced months ago. Having a popular channel that handles gaming kind of implies that you keep up to date with gaming news. Everything he does is completely staged for the clicks.

1 Mistake? Name me one review he does where he gives a bad rating because of one mistake. He names MANY mistakes, and goes into great detail; both positive and negative.

Do you disagree with any of his valid points? and if so, where do you stand on any of the specifics? I found the interview refreshing because it was well thought out and precise with all sorts of facts to back up his criticism. Hate on the guy all you want, but show some respect.
Eh, not a big fan of the guy. No splitscreen has been known for months and I’m fine with it considering that it was done due to hardware limitations and to keep the framerate at a steady 60 FPS, Campaign seemed fine to me, took me a little over 10 hours on Heroic to beat it. He went through on normal with a full coop team so I can see how he beat it in a 4.5 hours. I actually enjoyed the story and thought the ending was fine (this is the beginning of a new saga so this is the opening act). I don’t agree with his analysis of the REQ system. It’s only used in the Warzone playlists and we’re getting free DLC because of it as well as part of it being put into the HCS prize pool. I actually prefer the REQ system over the usual level unlocks…something about opening packs is quite addicting. Anyway…is the game perfect…no. Biggest complaint right now is playlists and number of maps. The campaign gave me what I expected from a Halo campaign and the multiplayer is the best I’ve played in any Halo…and definitely up there when compared to any other game. If I have to give it a numerical score (1 - 10) then I’d give it a 9.

He gave it a 6/10 and said when Forge and BTB comes along it’ll be a seven or higher to him. He himself thinks it’s a good game, but it needs more modes and a bit of improvement. He caters heavily to people to get views though, like MDawg said. Plus, his Dirty Bomb review made me throw out most opinions he has.

It was a good review!! This game could have been more, but I play it mostly for the MP and that is not doing too well with some of it’s issues.

He streams gaming on twitch, does angry rants and interviews and reviews big name games. That counts for a tid bit of research, no? If you make a living or a good chunk of coin on youtube vids, you do your homework.

Ha. That’s a funny joke. IGN said Halo 4 was the best Halo ever LOL.
21 Million hours played in a week, and the ones with negative reviews, constant complaints, and whining probably amount to .000001% of that. Maybe you’re the one that needs to open your eyes? Just a thought.
Point is, part of what you listen to and dwell on is your choice. There’s a lot of fun to be had here, too bad you’re missing it.
My eyes bled from both those intros. And his voice is so god-damn annoying. Actually he seems really annoying anyway. They didnt even research the game before playing!!!
