Open mind.

Here’s a suggestion, I can’t say Halo 4 is good cause I never played it, and you can’t say it’s bad cause you never played it… It’s being made by a different developer, that doesn’t mean it’s bad, and it doesn’t mean it’s good either, there ARE some former Bungie employees in there but there are different people which means some stuff must change, if you’re gonna buy it and just play on the classic playlists, you’re basically spending $60 on Halo 3 with better graphics and a different campaign… Let’s all go in open minded, not going in simply saying it sucks or it;s the best thing ever… Just simply go in, play it and judge it by it’s core gameplay… If you just want to listen to other people’s opinions and use them as your own, I wont judge …In public.
Deal? We all go in open minded …Play the campaign, hop into Spartan Ops with our friends, THEN go into matchmaking, play the new gametypes THEN decide if it’s a good game or not?

Inb4 butthurt time travelers.

I already plan to do that op.

Before anyone posts it,E3 and SDCC builds are NOT Halo 4!These are almost like a public beta, nothing like the final copy. You cannot judge the game by this.

> Inb4 butthurt time travelers.

I laughed.

People shouldn’t shell out for a game and then decide if it was worthwhile or not. They look at gameplay and features now, decide whether they’ll like it or not and then make a purchase decision.

There really should’ve been a public beta for this game.

Lol. Waypoint forums in a nutshell.

i’ve been saying this for ages yet no one listens.

dreadman, you can talk about being open minded, i’ve seen you go around posting sarcastic comments and shooting down everyone who is trying to raise some concerns or express concerns, deliberately misinterperate things to suite your way of thinking and out right try and defend 343i at all costs.

in short, stop being a hypocrit, to be open minded is to view things and a neutral perspective, except other peoples opinions and take it into consideration, this topic is the opposite of being open minded.

You’re basically saying people should judge a book by its first paragraph.

Unfortunately, there really isn’t a good way to judge a book. You have to read it for yourself to find out.

this is assuming you’re only buying the game for multiplayer, and, if you are, you deserve to lose the money.
Buy the game for campaign and see if you like the multiplayer.
couldn’t be simpler.

The butthurt will never stop.

Read the back of the book.

so people should send hours of bordem reading a book they don’t enjoy just to say they don’t enjoy it when they could have said the same thing a few paragraphs in? …

people shouldn’t shell out money blindly or out of nothing but faith in developers, its a really easy way to end up wasting your money, you should look at what the game has to offer and then decide if its worth purchasing to give it a try, if it sounds and looks bad then don’t purchase it, if it sounds and looks promising then purchase it.

I still think it’s going to be good, I’m pretty sure I won’t be disappointed. Just because there’s different people doesn’t necessarily mean it will be different, at least completely.

Ironically, I agree with you.

I couldn’t even tell you what Chief is doing. I couldn’t even tell you what happened at the end of Halo 3. I don’t play for Halo’s story and a lot of people don’t either. All I care about is multiplayer.

That’s terrible, I read the back of the Flood and the book wasn’t as good as the blurb turned it out to be.

These builds are the only thing we have to judge off of. Not the best, but we can good some sort of an idea about how Halo 4 will play. Until we get an updated build, people will do as they please and are free to judge to an extent, while being open minded of course. I judge from things I’ve seen in the build all the time, but still know this isn’t the final build…

We have a forum, we must discuss these things. All we’ve seen is some Infinity slayer too. I think 343 should open the box up a little and advertise some other gametype…lets ol CTF. No more regicide and infinity slayer…

The flood was just an awful, awful book… I exagerrate, but reading a 70% narrative of Halo CE was painful
