Open communication between 343 and fans

After having a read through the comments under the drop pod update, and seeing the mixed to mostly negative comments about the changes to ranked. It would make a great deal of sense if 343 used these forums as a way of getting fan opiniona on potential big changes.

First time was the ‘tank gun glitch’ and the unanncouced removal of skill jumps and now it is with the changes to ranked. Would make the work load at 343I much better if before these where done they asked the community about it. If feedback is positive then do it. If feedback is negative then don’t do it.

343 decides what they want to do and they will do it regardless of the feedback. As long as they can find one person that agrees with them, they will say that they are listening to feedback. You are going to play the way they want you to and you will enjoy it.

If 343 actually listened to feedback, collision would be the first thing they had fixed. Instead… Still broken…

They generally do weekly updates and articles about the game a month or so out from when the next season launches.

They do a mid season tease of some new cosmetic items coming in the next season- maybe show some screenshots of new maps. Then they start weekly updates on here showing they are discussing changes coming- that never do show up.

Then they promote the heck out of the next battle pass- because outside of the store everyone just ends up with the same customization options anyway- and so a starved community begin to salivate for ANYTHING new.

Then they launch the next battle pass, get paid and take some time off.
So long as sales maintain- they really have no need of caring for the community and changing anything.
Tell me, how many games do you load into and see someone with cat ears/ store purchased cosmetics? Every game?

There’s the problem.
If they generate money, they will change or feel obliged to change very little.
