There is not much to say about this, other than it was done by the player on purpose. What happens is that it keeps the railgun shot at some spot and allows it to infinitely do damage.
I didn’t even know you could get an Archlight in Infection. I guess the glitch is that the shots will stop in mid air? If I recall it’s supposed to have proxy fuses.

I wonder if the proxy fuses are causing it to travel infinitely…shooting point blank in the Forge object (wall) lodges it and the fuse doesn’t go off until a Player is close enough. Literally a proximity mine.
There are a couple videos on YouTube talking about the glitch. That eagle precurser guy explains it. He seems to know a lot about infection.

As far as my knowledge is concerned, there are a total of 3 spots on Power Installation 484 where you can utilize the glitch to devastating effect. Unfortunately, it’s hard to describe them through words. But seriously, once you plant your “charges” in those spots (without getting infected), it’s so overpowered.
