Tried many times now, but I have almost no chance beating people who barely play the game in doubles.
Always get onyx in arena slayer, but in doubles I get out camped or out power weaponed by the worst players…

unfortunately doubles relies heavily on power ups, you may wan’t to know the timers and camp them too.

What he said. I used to get Onyx exclusively in Breakout. Now that they scrubbed ranked breakout I had to adapt to Slayer and Team Arena for a while before ranking high in those. I imagine doubles is the same but until I have a good doubles partner I dint plan on getting too into it. Its rough alone.
Doubles is new so most people are in gold or plat. It takes time for the ranks to disperse.

That and if you do well, win 9/10 games you still get ranked Platinum 4-6, so you have good players getting stuck in Platinum and low Diamond. Even playing with a team, the best you can place seems to be Platinum 6.
