You gain points for winning you need to get to 1800 for championship rank and you need to stop dodging

It works similar to Halo 5 rating, where you’re now in competition with every other onyx/champion ranked player, not just the ones you’re matching. So although you may be winning your matches, other onyx players are winning more and surpassing you in rating.

Once you hit onyx it’s more like golf rules. Lower rating is better. Top 200 get champion rank. Onyx 201 is the highest he can achieve before hitting champion.

That’s not how Onyx works. Onyx always remains the same, but goes unlimitedly up, really late into H5 FFA seasons, the top players will be Onyx 6000, at Champ 1-10. Championship in Halo is the only thing that degrades over time, and even still it’s not your CSR, it’s just the baseline for the top 200 Onyx players rising.
