I really wanted to make a discussion thread for arena because i think its really underrated nowadays. With decently forged maps, DMR starts, and only sprint/hologram, i think its a pretty good playlist. If only MLG was ranked…

Anyways, things like youtube and mlg forums and other places are void of discussions of arena. Id really like to get an active discussion for high level gameplay going to discuss.

A couple notes:

Please dont say im being elitist, but i dont wanna hear how to play from a 50% silver…sorry. Maybe we can help you evolve your stategy and get you to be a better player.

Itd be cool if you left your GT so we could see your arena rating.

All i can think of at the moment, i have to go in a few minutes.

Ill throw out a topic to start, what maps do you play slow on and what maps do you play agressively on and why?

I play really conservatively on swordbase and countdown, but usually i want my team to be very agressive, atleast in certain positions on maps like enclosed. A really good strategy for enclosed i learned is to put one guy at their sniper behind their back-right (if facing their side from your side) sniper post thingymajig.

Anyways im tired, hope to see some discussion in this for tommorow…

Edit: My gt is packsofbears by the way, and im top 50% onyx at the moment.

I play aggressively on all maps because I’m awesome and nothing can slow me down.

Truth be told, I can’t play anything but zero bloom playlists anymore.

If Team Snipers was in arena then I’d be all over it… provided they remove half of the current maps and put in some decent forges… eh… Halo Reach is a failure as a competitive game.

It’s fun, just a competitive joke.

down to 70% onyx, havent been able to play mm cuz the freaking servers are down or something…

So far i seem to be winning alot on asylum and losing alot on enclosed…

Also i got banned for 5 days, still not sure what for but thats why i havent posted, id like this thread to start doing well…

I wish they would rank swat/snipers just for fun.

Won like 5/15 games yesterday and still went up 15% because it was putting me against single digits…
