I recently went back to GOW3 and played horde mode with my awesome Onyx guard character and thought, wow this would look great on a spartan. For those who do not know what it looks like check this Onyx Guard | Gears of War Wiki | Fandom . Obviously it would not stay the same completely but a few adjustments to make it suitable for a spartan and i think this could be pretty cool.
Any thoughts?

At this point, I think all kinds of designs would work on Spartans.
I love the design and would love to see something like it in a future Halo game. The helmet of the Onyx guard reminds me of the Operator helmet a bit.
I love the Onyx Guard but it would feel very out of place if the armor was added to the Halo universe.
I loved the GoW armor design would not mind if they borrowed some of their design.
I wouldn’t mind, but definitely make some changes to it so it can fit. But other that I say yes.
I’d love good ol’ security armor back, just give it a similar look to Halo 3’s version this time.
The Onyx guard helmet should be the new Hyabusa lol.
I believe that the Onyx Shield body armour should be introduced to the Halo universe or at least design something similar.
It would look out of place. Spartan armor doesn’t show any skin.
Looks a bit too slim to me. I would bulk out the chest and arms a bit, making it a bit more segmented. The helmet looks kinda like EOD, as well.
