Okay. I tried to give the game the benefit of the doubt. I was having fun and I defended the game against countless attacks. I started playing Swat today, one of my all time favorites from every Halo game that included it. I played 10 games. I won 6. I did TERRIBLE in each match. I’m talking 20 deaths 5 kills terrible.

And I got ranked Onyx.

ARE YOU Yoinking! ME? ONYX? THE HIGHEST RANK IN THE FREAKING GAME?!

I CAN’T #@$%#$%$ PLAY THIS GAME NOW BECAUSE I WON A FEW STUPID MATCHES AND NOW I’M BEING PUT AGAINST PEOPLE WHO PLAY LIKE FREAKING GOD AND I CAN’T HARDLY GET A SINGLE KILL BECAUSE THE SECOND I SPAWN I GET SHOT AND I CAN’T HIT ANYONE.

I SUCK AT THIS GAME. I will admit that. And it’s because of that that I have to ask. WHY DID I GET RANKED ONYX?!?!?!!??!

I literally cannot play the game. I have lost every solo game since I got ranked Onyx. Being completely destroyed. The best K/D ratio I got was 0.5

RESET MY FREAKING RATING AND FIX YOUR RATING SYSTEM. BASE IT OFF OF PERSONAL PERFORMANCE NOT WINS.

Agreed. But also, it is SLIGHTLY influence by perfimance too. Me and 3 friends did swat for our 1st 10 games too. we wone 6 as well. I got platinum 1, my frind got Gold 3 and the other got gold 1and platinum 2. So it’s deff also ranked by performance too. not by much tho

It’s BS I got to play 10 games and now I just can’t. Not only am I pissed off because it keeps putting me into nonstop SWAT magnums which is THE WORST GAME MODE IN HISTORY. But I literally cannot take 3 steps without getting shot from across the map by some MLG 360 noscope pro DQ player.

Maybe if you could reset your rank your self would be a nice touch. Personally I was happy with my rank with swat. For platmiun 1 and now I’m lv 3 only after a few games. Well happy

This is why SWAT shouldn’t be ranked. It was never meant to be ranked.

You will have another round of placement matches I believe. When the time comes.

Every rank for every mode will reset. 343 said something along the lines of it being a form of a self competition so you can try to get a higher rank next time.

Yeah, somehow I got Diamond 1 in SWAT, so now I usually end up being the worst person on my team. They definitely need to let people derank.

SWAT Magnums is the best game mode in all of Halo 5.

Why shouldn’t he be mad? He only played a few games and now he has to get pooped on for a month before its fun for him again? Thats -Yoink-.

I do feel the ranking system is flawed…I played my 10 in seat and won 9 and was at the top of my team in all 10 games with consistent 20 kill games and only got diamond 1 lol…don’t play it often but when I do i still steam roll f

yeah I understand your pain, it’s not fun for you but also for your teammates that maybe had to lose due to your performance, which is not at their level ofc.

It happens to me quite often… i am trying to win my way up to Onix - currently diamond 5 - but I frequently find people that shouldn’t be at this level thus losing the game.

I hope 343 will take in account how a player plays in the first 10 games

in swat I was consistently hitting a K/D of 2.5-3+, yet I got ranked in Diamond 1.

It really should be based off of personal performance. As much as I like my buddies that I play with, I don’t exactly want to be dragged down by them whenever we play together because they are garbage.
