A low onyx should not be able to match a champion.For example,chi just played a game of breakout where I am a 1548 onyx and I had 3 diamonds on my team and I matched 4 CHAMPIONS. Here is a solution,make it so a onyx who is 50% or lower in onyx CSR cannot match a champion. For example, if the onyx CSR to get into champ was 2000, then onyxs 1750 and lower SHOULD NOT be able to match champs.
That would make queue times pretty ridiculous for Champion players
Onyx and Diamonds should get matched with champions but I agree they need to be tweaked. I had a match the other day when Myself(Diamond) and 3 platinum were placed against 2 champions and 2 onyx. Needless to say, we didn’t stand a chance.
Edit: When I looked at your stats I noticed you not only where a champion in Big Team but Onyx in multiple playlists…I’m pretty sure you can hang with the big dogs.

BTB champ doesn’t mean anything when it comes to competing.
It’s because Breakout is dead, that’s why last seasons champ req was 1650 I think, if you were Diamond 1 you faced champs. If they don’t match diamonds then they can’t face anyone, the only thing the game needs is solo queue so it can be somewhat even. My first two matches were against against two champs then two onyxes in my breakout placement while I got plats on my team.
Champion in breakout is only 200 up from where you are somewhere in the 1750 range.
So in reality they aren’t as far as you think they are.

Giggling at onyx players complaining about getting hard games. You’re -Yoinking!- onyx what do expect. would you have made a complaint thread if you ran into a 50 in H3?
