343! Not cool! Not freakin’ cool at all! I understand that as games get more visually complex split screen becomes harder to pull off, but Halo has to have four-player split screen, or three-player at the very least! Halo Reach allowed four-players, but it drastically reduced visual quality in order to keep a steady frame rate, and that’s exactly what you need to do with 5. I don’t care if the visuals look like a game from a generation ago while playing four-player as long as they look phenomenal while I’m playing alone!
You’ve still got a year before release. Please allow four-player. It’s part of what makes Halo so great. 343! Please! Ya have to! Unless you can give us an incredibly convincing and legitimate reason as to why you can’t, but even then I still want four-players on one system! Pleeeeaaaase! You’ve done everything else perfectly with Halo 5, don’t mess up one of Halo’s definitive features!

im pretty sure 4 splitscreen will make a massive decrease in framerate. Seems to be it for the MCC.
I’m shocked this is such an often spoke of topic. I didn’t even know previous Halos had this feature. I’m not trying to demean the features’ fans, I simply have never used it.
Why would you want a screen with 4 splitters? Must be like looking a postage stamp or playing on your phone. Only your phone is 2 or 3 metres away.
Personally I think 2 split is fine and dandy. Especially with most folk playing online now.

That’s because the visual quality stays roughly the same in MCC. In Reach they made it so things got more blobby as they got farther away when playing split screen, and plants would disappear too. Visuals were downgraded so that the frame rate could stay the same, and the only downside was the game got less pretty. A small price to pay for increased fun

343 just keep 4 split screen by some means, please. I actually enjoy trying to include my friends who aren’t so halo savvy. It also makes for great party games. As in PARTY parties, not xbox live stuff.
The reason I play halo more than any game is because of the splitscreen feature.
