from what i can tell bungie only made one map for reach, forge world. every other map was taken from the campaignso they didnt even have to put much work into any of them. same with firefight.
Every map reach came with is horrible, even greyworld, bungie got really lazy with the maps this time. For FF it’s alright because you’re fighting AI but for MM it’s unacceptable. Only good maps were DLC.
The multiplayer maps were put into the campaign. Not the other way around.
Also, considering that Reflection is a remake of Ivory Tower from Halo 2…
Although I don’t like campaign maps. All the maps were made first. They simply added them to the campaign as cameos.

This is true. I would not like 343 to continue that trend. I want my Campaign experience to stand alone. I wouldn’t mind adding to it kinda like Tempest did or even Anchor 9. They are areas set in the campaign but not part of the campaign.
Agreed. MM maps shouldn’t be a part of campaign, it detracts from the overall feel. Like if you’re playing campaign, you feel like as soon as you leave the area, two teams of Spartans will roll through using the place as their battleground. We need more maps like Battle Creek and Headlong.
Yes, I agree Countdown is the best map.

Yes, a very bad recreation.

Countdown is an awesome map IMO. Only Reach map worthy of Halo’s name.
Bungie made the multiplayer maps first. Then they decided to put it into campaign.
