ONLY for WINNNNING !!!!!!!

I think ONLY the winning team should get Credits/Exp or what ever HALO 4 is using .

In Halo 3 you got 1 xp if you were on the winning team and 0 xp if you were on the losing team In Halo Reach you get ( x ) number of credits for winning and ( x ) number of credits for losing

I feel this doesn’t drive people to care about winning as much as it should and people are ok with losing because they still get something and there’s little to no insensitive to try and get better because you still get something for losing .
And I understand not everyone plays with a full party or team .

Exp & Exp per playlist = insensitive to win / Rank ups
Credits for losing or winning = Boarding and little to no Insensitive to Try + makes it OK for people to AFK

Maybe im wrong and 343i has found a way to make it all work out.

All input is welcome and could help
Thank’s

Yes! and for the people who quit let them get deranked! or lose huge chunk of exp.

My only issue with this is that with the lack of a TrueSkill match-up system, good players will be punished when they have crappy teammates.

If a guy goes +15 (while his teammates all go negative), but still loses by 5 kills, he deserves credits (or whatever). Your system would see him rewarded the same amount as his inferior teammates.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Loadout unlocks are tied to the progression system because of that both teams need to get EXP. However the winning team should get a good sized bonus for winning and 343i has stated this is the case.

Apparently there is a significantly higher payout if you win rather than lose. If you want to rank up the fastest, you’ll want to win.

And if you played Reach, you’ll know that consistent AFKers are promptly banned. The banhammer has been getting better with each game, so I believe 343’s banhammer will be quite polished. That shouldn’t post much of an issue.

no if only winners get cR/exp then there will be a lot of people quitting

NO

> no if only winners get cR/exp then there will be a lot of people quitting

Not necessarily. In Halo 3, you were punished for quitting. If you care enough to quit due to lack of exp at the end, chances are you’ll care about getting penalized for doing so.

> YES!!!1

I couldn’t agree moar!

It won’t happen, because they are trying to make the game appeal to gunnery sergeants.LOL

No. It has its flaws, a big one being rage quitters. It doesn’t tell a player’s skill whatsoever, I’m hoping they come up with a more sophisticated system than that!

Spartan Ops?

I forget which video it was, but it showed the after game credit hand outs and it read “Victory +5000”. Is that good enough?

With the new unlock system and points for completing Spartan Ops… NO

As seen in a released picture im to lazy to find, you get alot of xp for winning. You got like 1000 for game complete 1000+ for like commendations and like 5000 for winning

> Yes! and for the people who quit let them get deranked! or lose huge chunk of exp.

^One of the best ways to stop quitting. Besides, you know, actually setting up quality games.

How about no…

People get rewarded EXP for how they play, bonus EXP for winning.

Horrible idea is horrible, and i am thankful you’re not making Halo games OP.

I was expecting Charlie sheen.

This. In Halo 3 if I didn’t really like the game I would still stick it out to get the exp. Even if I didn’t win, I didn’t quit since my trueskill would go down and I’d lose a win on my record.

In Reach there’s like no punishment except for the lolquitban, so if a game is bad, I’m piecing.

Agreed people quit less when they have something to lose .

When you get credits for lose people AFK and don’t even try as they are rewarded for doing nothing .
