Do you want them to give it to us straight and tell us no, there will never be flood in halo game again end off. Or yes we do have plans for flood. And which I am all ways disappointed sadly. i would like to know as I would personally stop buying halo if I knew my favourite faction was gone…you can look at it like a film series when your favourite character is killed off and the show means nothing to you anymore…well this gose the same with me. We know the Flood’s return is what everything is building to with 100% certainty, dude.
I’d rather keep it a surprise until the next Halo game (which hopefully has the Flood in it) comes out.

They’re the central antagonists of the Halo universe, really. If they don’t come back in some form or another, I’d be very surprised.
They’re pretty much gaurunteed to eventually. Giving a hard no would mean nothing as they’d probably bring them back eventually anyway.

I’ve had many arguements on that with people but I agree, the rings were designed to destroy the flood…and the games called halo…but no flood since halo 3 
I want them to be a playable faction in halo wars 2 in single player game modes like skirmish for example (except campaign) and multiplayer mode.

You’d be willing to stop playing the game if the Flood was no longer within the game franchise? I can see you’re passionate about the parasite, but hot damn that is crazy you’d drop the game for that. I know i’d be incredibly disappointed if we never saw the Flood again, they just interconnect too much for them not to appear once more. Although dropping the series over it I don’t think I would be able to do.

Part of the allure of Halo CE’s second act was the twist of the Flood, I think it’d be a nice throwback for them to do it again and keep it as under wraps as possible.
Like imagine you’re playing through halo 6 or something and fighting Knights or the Keepers of the One Freedom or some Covie splinter group or the Banished or something and The Flood just pop up out of nowhere and are now 100% the most dire threat to the galaxy.
That -Yoink-'s awesome, The sort of chaos they bring from nowhere is the best part about them.

Yeah man, I’m telling you straight . I remember when reach was teased all I was looking for on the Internet was hints for the flood and rumours, but was let down every time :,(.think of any game you love and the best part to you was taken away from it, that’s how I feel

they can’t not have the flood in the halo games, the entire story revolves around this parasite. They are likely building up towards an epic battle between flood and all creation.
I would want the Flood to return in Halo 6, but I don’t want a reveal until I play the Flood-Intro mission! Besides with the stunt 343i pulled with Halo 5, I think the Flood would really bring the community together and make the Halo 6 plot that much richer. Who would have thought it would be the Flood who might end up saving the Halo Universe!

By saving the Halo universe I meant saving the Halo plot. Maybe 343i can only save the fiction from decline if they introduced the Flood, maybe finally get the fans back!
Not gonna lie. I got confused by the polls choices. At first it looked like the first meant “Yes Flood will return” and the other the opposite. I picked “No, keep it a secret for as long as possible” Because i don’t want them to simply go out and say “Hey! Flood will be in the next game! Enjoy and look forward to it.” It needs to be hidden until the moment they get an apperance. When and let me repeat WHEN Flood returns 343i need to introduce them again in a good way. That would create a big checkpoint for everyones memories.
People going like “Remember the time Flood returned? It was so amazing! I still get goosebumps from watching their return.” That would be fantastic. Flood will return. They never got defeated in Halo 3, only the Gravemind who is a part of the Flood, not the whole Flood. Flood is the biggest threat and challenge in the Halo franchise. It’s literally the main antagonist. No one in their sane mind would remove Flood from the Halo franchise. They will return and judging by Halo: Escalation they may or may not return in Halo Wars 2. If not in the vanilla campaign then in the DLC story pack. Either way they will return.
