Is anyone else planning on pretty much sticking to the BR? I am, when I play Reach all I want to do is use the BR, so I go play H3.
Nope, gonna stick with my DMR. I’ve always preferred single shot rifles, and I hated the fact that in Halo 3 it was essentially all anyone should use.
It was BR or die, and it got old after a while.
There was a reason I stuck to the Team Snipers and Action Sack playlists toward the end of its life

If all you want to do is use the BR, when Halo offers such a huge sandbox I’d recommend you go play Halo 3.

This!
Yea i will be playing with BR even though DMR will be my second and first choice aswell.
I voted Light Rifle, but I’ll likely be using the other precision weapons about as much as it.

I said pretty much, I still have yet to try out the Light Rifle, it might be better. I have something against the DMR and Reach, and I don’t care for the automaatic guns
I’ll be using the BR on small maps, but Exile, Longbow and Valhalla I’ll be using the DMR. I kind of prefer the DMR any how, the BR was ruined for me with Halo 3 after the awesomeness that was Halo 2.
I don’t know how lots of people who haven’t played the game yet are deciding on what weapon they are going to use, personally I am going to use whatever weapon feels best and whatever weapon I do the best with which I won’t find out until November 6th
I’ll try the BR, but I really want to use the carbine.
I like the DMR but in reach it has way too much bloom, and zero bloom doesn’t fit the DMR, if Halo 4 has a good medium then I might use it

I have like three or four that I want to tryout first before settling on something…

Eh, it’s more of the planning ahead aspect that most people are in to. I, myself have already picked out a preferred loadout based on how the given packages, AA’s, and such fall in to my preferred play style.
I’m going to try everything, of course. However, I’m simply predicting what I will work best with.
Going to use the DMR and Light Rifle. Because the BR kills too slow.

The DMR, BR, and Carbine have the same kill time. The Light Rifle will have a faster kill time if scooped in and slower if shooting from the hip.
Video of the weapons breakdown
Light Rifle.
The game I’m playing will determine my loadout.
id say the light rifle because 343 says its basicly a br fused with a dmr
I’m torn between DMR and AR. Probably going to have to use the DMR, or lose often.
DMR, Hands Down. I need better accuracy.
