So here is this new trend ( at least new to me) amongst the “conservative” Halo fans that anybody that wants Halo to evolve or change its gameplay mechanics in any way must be bad Halo players. That is utterly stupid. I am sure not all “conservative” fans are like that but I’m starting to see a lot more people spew this sort of nonsense. A lot of people do not want Halo to change, at least no by much. Does that automatically make them skilled players? No it doesn’t. So just because somebody wants to change doesn’t mean they suck. I for one suck… I do badly in every Halo I have played, even the ones people say take no skill (Halo 4) but I know players who are good at Halo and either don’t mind the change or actually want the change…
While the intention might have been good, nothing good can come out of this thread. Blatant stat flaming is still absolutely prohibited and should be reported, but beyond that, people are free to have their own opinions and prejudices, whether they’re warranted or not.
