I know Waypointers hate negativity but I have a few concerns with Halo 4 that I feel I have to bring up, sorry.

This sounds horrible to me. If anyone here has played Elite Slayer in Reach (The Horrors!, all I use is the Plasma pistol–>Needle rifle combo. I don’t want every match in Halo 4 to feel like Elite Slayer.

Plasma grenades (and armor lock) are one of the few reasons that I avoid close quarters combat in Reach. There is nothing worse than meleeing someone and they throw a plasma on you and get a cheap kill from the grave. Now imagine a player who does this but can spawn with plasma grenades every time he dies. Doesn’t sound fun.

<mark>Promethean Vision looks bad.</mark>
Yes, I’m going to straight up say it. Promethean Vision looks like its going to join the infamous list of “What Were They Thinking?” along with Armor Lock, AA active camo, and Regens in Halo 3. It looks super powerful and looks like it can slow down gameplay. (Didn’t 343 say they wanted to speed it up?)

I know it’s been said before but the kill time on the BR is slower than the carbine and DMR. Speed the thing up please.
And that’s about it. Tell me why you agree/disagree. I can’t wait for this game, I need a new Halo game to play because I can barely stand Reach and I have been playing Halo 3 for 5 years.

That was only a Custom Game to my knowledge.

Only one I can agree with, even if it is upped to a 4SK, it will still be slower than the other main weapons like DMR or Carbine, it needs to be changed to 4SK to at least keep up.

I’m aware they were customs but they keep on saying “Build you own class! Custom classes in Halo!” but you can’t change your secondary to a plasma pistol? I would like to be wrong but I doubt I am.

Yeah, but there only seems to be a few solutions to fix this abomination.
- Scratch this AA off the face of the earth (not gonna happen)
- Shorten the time drastically, almost to the point where it’s almost useless
- Or make the users’ screen blurred after they use PV for a short time

1 & 2: Reading about the Plasma Pistol, it doesn’t sound like the lock on effect is as strong compared to Halo 3 & Reach, it is a lot weaker, meaning it should be that much of a problem if it does become a loadout option.
As for Plasma grenades, time will tell on how that will work out, if they balance them out perfectly then there will be no problem, in my opinion you should only be able to spawn with one sticky grenade, otherwise the player just throws two sticky grenades at you which tends to kill you more often than Frags do.
- I’d love to see the time shortened a lot, it last way to long right now, another idea I had is that you can only use it once per life or if shot, you are knocked out of it and the time for it to recharge is doubled.
Or once you are stunned by something like a Plasma Pistol, it is disabled until you die next.
Well only time will tell. I hope they pull all the right moves and I’m not playing Halo: Elite Slayer edition Ewwwwww haha
