Only 12 people for infection or miscommunication?

Bravo quoted that “12 player survival” is he talking about starting survivors or only 12 people per match?

After all, I could have misinterpreted this. But what do you all think?

I think he means 12 players per match.

And this is usually in line with how previous infection matchmaking offerings have gone. Though I’m sure the cap can be pushed up to 16 in custom games

Well, I’m sure that in customs you will be able to have 16 players, but the matchmaking variant of Infection may only allow 12 to be in a single match.

Hopefully. I thought there was a cap of 16 players in original Infection matchmaking. I am referring to Reach.

Maybe. Cause the Infected seem to have an advantage of speed with energy swords.

And possibly because the general ease of movement everyone has, or maybe the maps are a tiny bit smaller.

I mean I can’t complain about 12 people better than no infection XD

I figured he meant the matchmaking playlist will support 12 people. Which is on par with past games all having 12 or 13 players. Of course you could always do 16 in custom and I imagine you’ll still be able to.

Nah, Infection was always capped at 12 people in Halo 3, Reach and Halo 4. It was a good amount, and I’m glad that it’s staying the same in Halo 5.
