There should be an online marketplace where you could sell or buy weapons, skins, and armor, from other players, with either reqpoints or money!

You have to, err, I mean should, finish Silvers and Bronzes first, then you can only get Ultra Rares and Legendaries from Gold Packs.

They give uncommon or higher lol but permanents are most likely rare or higher if you completed silver. One time use cards are uncommon or higher.
So basically, you want the way companies handle microtransaction that make them bad for the industry?
The beauty of Halo 5’s REQ Packs and microtransactions is that the are random. You have no idea what you are getting and because of that it was fair if you bought packs instead of just playing the game and buying them with the in-game currency. It made it fair for everyone. When you give fans the option to buy specific weapons, it takes away that fairness. You could save up the 10,000 RP points and hope to get the Phaeton or a DMR. Or you could spend some real cash and buy it right away. It’s not fair that way.
If it was just cosmetics it’d be different but if you throw weapons and vehicles into the mix it’s going to ruin everything.

100% yes, even give the top 3 players on the winning team (based on score, not kills) and extra 500 points, would give a purpose.

I’d say req points only (never add an option to buy points!!!)
But have it change every week but have
Rare RANDOM armour or weapon certifications for 25,000 points
Ultra rares for 50 000
Or legendary for 80 000.
You don’t choose what you get, but at least it’s more gurenteed.

I always get sad when I get nothing for blowing up the core, and it would be nice if top performing players got extra too.
lol that would remove the balance that every player that starts out. Players who have the DMR means they have put time down grinding down every pack. Even if they bought packs with real world currency does not always guarantee they unlock what they want. An online store that sells individual guns would really make it unfair therefore it becomes pay-to-win since players who have the money can just purchase that single weapon to at least stay relevant to the game and others who can’t, can’t along with an early advantage. This game was never pay to win as it still requires skills of the individual player to work together as a team to score objectives or destroy the core in warzone. I may have a DMR with a laser sight for better tracking of headshots but doesn’t mean it makes me OP. I may have the high five rocket launcher but I can’t use it all the time because I have so few of them. It depends on the player using that weapon and their judgement.

Yeah but it can be easily unlocked if you spend time grinding down stuff. Not only that, if the player who sold that skin gets it again, then it becomes an annoyance. The system recycles itself. There’s no point. If you want to sell stuff for req points might as well sell common stuff like mongooses if you are barely starting. They come in so much quantity that you can just sell them all.

Interesting idea, but I think I would have it if it changed the reqs so where you could get duplicate perm unlocks. If you couldn’t get duplicates until you sold one I don’t think I would have a problem with it. That way if you wanted to sell/ buy you could, but if you wanted it to remain how it is you could leave it alone.
