Was curious about Halo Infinite’s multiplayer a little. Hope it has dedicated servers similar to Halo 5. And search preferences was actually kind of cool too (I personally keep mine on “Expanded”). Since it’s going to be on PC also, do you believe they’ll give us the option to have crossplay? Maybe turn on and turn off crossplay search similarly to how Activision does with their Call of Duty games? That way players who want a wider variety of players along with console players with phobias of hackers/modders can all be satisfied.
Full on cross-play is preferred. The option to matchmake with only controller input sounds good. But I wouldn’t mind playing against mouse/keyboard at all if the game was casual instead of sweaty.
That would be nice to have an option to switch between cross play and console only matchmaking, also I would like a playlist selection similar to mcc where you can select more specific game modes and unselect others.

I think it’s safe to say the game will have dedicated servers. Having peer to peer connections in 2020 would be wild.
As for cross play I’m a bit torn. I feel like it could be too easy to PC players to manipulate the game. I’m not expert on PC mods or anything so I’m not too sure.
If it was optional I’d like that as a preference. M&K can have a decent advantage in FPS Games.

I agree with ‘PC players might manipulate the game’, but I’m still all-for crossplay. Maybe 343 can come up with a good hacker booting system.

I agree. Especially about the playlist selection. I’m not a fan of objectives, it would be nice to be able to select slayer only games.
