ONI Wasp VS Hannibal Wasp

Which Wasp do you like better? I personally can wreck house with an ONI Wasp, so much so I can take out 3 different Banshees that try to take me out. Hannibal Wasp is okay, but it is super hard to take out any air vehicles trying to take you down.

I prefer the Hannibal, but I’d only try to use them in aerial combat in a pinch anyway. The Hannibal can pretty much wreck everything if you’re sitting above an armory and is useful against bosses/tanks. A favorite in WZFF too.

Definitely Hannibal. The ONI Wasp’s projectiles move really slow making it hard to hit players, and overall resulting in a pretty frustrating experience. Hell I’d even take a normal Wasp over the ONI one.

Agreed! The ONI Wasp machine gun shots take too long to get to the target so you’re constantly having to lead people and a simple thrust throws them out of your shot path. Hannibal is a beast. Easy to go off in that thing.

The Hannibal is one of the most powerful cost-effective vehicles out there. The ONI is cool, but it’s way too demanding to handle; the standard Wasp is more consistent.

I’m seeing a lot of people dislike the machine guns on the ONI Wasp, which does make sense, it can be annoying. However up close, they are much easier to kill with, and I think the damage output is brutal to larger vehicles. Hit and run is the way the ONI’s full power can be realized. I do agree that the Hannibal Wasp is much more brutal to Spartans, but the charge takes too long for my tastes, and the secondary is only really good on slow targets or bases. Maybe I suck with it, I’m open to some suggestions.

The ONI Wasp is like a strike unit geared towards quick hit-and-runs as well as pursuing fleeing enemies. The Hannibal is more of a fighter-bomber, dishing out maximum damage from a safe distance, though it can also be used aggressively.

For me, it depends on the situation. Due to the lock-on, it’s easier to take out fast vehicles like Warthogs and Mongooses, as well as air vehicles. But a Hannibal is better for infantry and siege.
All in all, I’d say that ONI is more defensive, while Hannibal is more offenisve.

I use the Hannibal a lot more often. Especially in warzone firefight.
