If I am wrong and this tank is NOT broken could someone please explain to me what I do not know about its capabilities and what it is for because in my experience other than the extra missile speed when you are able to get a direct hit to a targets body it is the WORST tank whatsoever. Mainly because if you hit a rock, wall, etc… around a target 8 out of 10 times the shell will glitch and not do any explosion or damage and you miss the kill… And it is ESPECIALLY annoying when being next to something when you are boarded and you loose the tank because your shot to blow them off glitches and does nothing. I was hoping this would be fixed in the BIG Nov. update but it has not… in its current state this req is a complete waste of time and not even worth attempting to bring to a fight.
The shots will ricochet. Increased health/armor. Increased bullet speed.

I believe the ONI scorpion’s rounds pierce through enemies like a sniper rifle, explaining the lack of explosion on impact. Chances are the explosion will end up behind the target.
It’s really good but you have to hit then dead on
The shells from the ONI Scorpion are similar to the Arclight’s shots as they only explode upon impact with hard surfaces (minus the hitscan properties). Shooting at soft targets like a Spartan will merely pierce through them.
I think the cool down time between shots is also a little shorter.
The shots ricochet on purpose. I personally think the ONI Tank is one of the best REQs in the game.

I know what you’re talking about some direct hits will do no damage. I have experienced this personally on the RECEIVING end. Many times I’ll be in a wasp or another vehicle, get direct hit by the tank and have literally no damage done to me, feels a but unfair for the other player. It happens occasionally.
Also ill notice many times I’ll die from behind a rock in the situation you explained, but when im using the tank, I’ll shoot and hit a rock an enemy JUST scraped behind and I won’t even have damaged them. Don’t know why this happens.
You have to shoot differently with the ONI tank than other tanks. Have to hit targets dead on. If someone is around cover and hiding from you, you most likely won’t get them by shooting the area around them.

That happens sometimes to me only when there is lag.
Citation needed honestly but it also feels like it moves faster, as well as what the above people have said.
the ONI tanks bullets are supposed to ricochet and ONI shells fire faster, very useful lol
