How big do you think a phaeton or a falcon is? In proportions to a Spartan, they’re pretty freakin big.
A falcon isn’t quite that big, though. It only hauls three Spartans, one pilot two gunners and no cargo.

Uh, the Sabre flies ridiculously fast compared to every other vehicle in the game. You remember how it only took a few seconds to fly past that space station, right? And how far away the enemy banshees were? Because you were going really fast.
It’s less likely, but perhaps it’s a Hornet, which I admit I’d kind of prefer. I know a Falcon seems obvious for Reach, but there is a small bit of support for the Hornet. First, rather than the standard Plasma Rifle, they are releasing the Brute Plasma Rifle, which wasn’t in the game. Which means it isn’t necessarily Reach exclusive. Second, Grim very recently had a CF Snapshot challenge for the Hornet. That seems very random to me, unless it’s going to be prominently featured soon in some way.
My God if they really did add a sabre that would be beast. It would totally fit the ONI secrecy that the req reveal displayed it as. According to Kat, the Sabre, its Launch Facility and the program itself were preposterous lies denied by high level officials, which means they obviously exist.
