i got the idea after listening to Halo Glasslands, when Naomi’s past and parents were revealed. i thought it would be a cool ARG type of marketing tool that 343 could use for Halo Infinite. by having a site come out that is ONI themed that has a lot of the files of Spartan 2s or 3s. the ones that Halsey and Ackerson made while they were in the selection process. It could also have classified information about zeta halo and about master chief and blue team to bridge the gap a little between halo 5 and infinite. i don’t know how exactly they would go about it, but one way could be to hide codes or qr codes in trailers or promotional tweets that would grant access to files on the ONI website, and as time passes and they release more and more promotional material we get more codes for different Spartans and events between games.

Right. There is so much potential information that is just sitting dormant. Plus i think itd be great for players to get a nice, caught up, rundown of events between games. This would be a good thing because with halo 4&5 the players who didnt read the books were lost for most of the story. Since they have been saying that this will be a good place for new and returning fans to jump in and play. This could be halo infinite’s equivalent to hunt the trut . If they had the means for that they could definetly do this
