Oni archives and halo infinite

After a short while of releasing the halo games on pc, 343 is showing us some ‘archives’ of BTS of some Oni operatives. this all seemed completely nothing but something on extra lore on Oni until the archive of halo 4 showed up. When nearing the end, the station or wherever the operatives were at, was hit by something. That was a emo strike imo. And if it make sense, it was a guardian. While this doesn’t necessarily tie into infinite, but has anyone found something ‘spoilery’ .

Well…the AI is the same from Outpost Discovery so that`s cool btw.

In fact, it was hit by a Guardian; if you put caps on you can see when you hear that the station was hit by something; it reads: “(Guardian Shock explodes)”

This ties up with halo 5 ending, and I like that 343i didnt forgot about the guardians (also appeared on Shadows of Reach)

They said a while ago that it would tie up to the events of Halo Infinite, I guess that the station could be the Infinity, and maybe the outpost discovery AI might help the hummanity forces (she knew that Cortana would go rampant). Also it gets me hopefull that someday we will see Halo 5 ported to PC, because the narrator survived the Guardian explosion, so he could tell the Halo 5 events from a different perspective.

Good to know that 343 is not just dropping the Created

It makes me happy that Halo 5’s plot isn’t going to be left unresolved. I’m still kinda bummed out by how they killed Jul ‘Mdama right off the bat in H5, so I’m glad 343 has learned that it they are capable of finishing a story without sidelining it to a book or rapidly ending it in the first cutscene.

As much as I hate most of halo 5’s plot, there just being a hole in the lore where things got wrapped up (after h5 spent time building things up) just feels wrong and sloppy.

Yeah, I would’ve hated to see them use the time jump between games to leave Halo 5’s plot unresolved. Thankfully, a friend told me about the new book the other day, and it seems like it bridges the gap nicely (I won’t go into spoilers because I don’t know if they’re allowed here).

The Archive definitely raised my eyebrows. I wasn’t sure how it could possibly tie into Halo Infinite but one thing we learned is anything is possible in Halo lately and things could change on the fly when it comes to the story.

Welp I think halo 5 will definitely be ported to pc some months before infinite ,tho not as a part of MCC. And the final entry in this archive series will release sidely with halo 5 . Or this is gonna be kinda weekly/monthly updates on the story. Anyways, I think more of them are to come.
