So I was playing a match made firefight with a fiend of mine, just him and I cause both our teammates left at the start. If there is a theater mode I can prove it. Anyways, we had a great time, finished the game, and are sent back to lobby. So my friend (the lobby leader of our group) backs us out of the lobby so we could customize our Spartans. Only a few minutes later, he tried to queue us up again, only to find out I have a been banned from matchmaking until the ninth of October. This is very frustrating as I have no idea why I got banned. We left in a LOBBY, and I wasn’t even lobby leader. Is there anyway to get a hold of support? Because this is ridiculous.
I’m having a similar issue. I was playing with a squad of 4 (we all know each other), just helping two of them get challenge progress for the brute chieftains. At the end of our session we leave and call it a night, I go to boot up halo and try to do arcade odst firefight and receive the message of being banned for one week with no explanation as to why or what I did to earn the ban. I’m hoping this is just a server issue on 343’s side but unless I did something to earn this ban I would like to know this information.
That’s a bummer man. Yeah my buddy just got mcc yesterday and we were so excited to play and now I can’t, and I don’t even know why. Is there anyway to get a hold of anyone that could unlift this ban?
This is the best place to be for that. We will have to wait for a mod to respond to our query.
You might want to submit a support ticket. I have been told that is the way to appeal a ban. There’s been about 5 people in my circle that have all been banned. Some were able to matchmake into a game upon our request for them to check if they were banned too, but were banned afterwards. All the bans are set to lift at the exact same time on October 9th as well.
