One Weapon, One Map; All Covenant

It’s every Spartan’s nightmare.
You get only one weapon, a secluded battlefield, and seemingly infinite Covenant forces streaming in from above in every aircraft there is.

So what would you choose? If you could pick a single weapon (with unlimited ammo) from any Halo game, a multiplayer map from any title (MM or Firefight) to stand our ground on, what would it be?

My personal choices would be a SAW on Meltdown, even though it wouldn’t really have my first vote in a Matchmaking game.
The SAW, because it’s a nearly unstoppable war machine, chopping down enemies like it’s an automatic…well, an automatic saw. It has a fair-sized clip as well, though it can run dry quickly.
Meltdown because it’s not so small to get cornered, and not too big to be spread apart and running like a chicken. It provides plenty of caverns, pathways, and shelters to take refuge and cover in.

Maps don’t have vehicles on them either, FYI

Can I choose the Target Designator?

> Can I choose the Target Designator?

Well, I suppose there’s a risk that you may blow yourself up, and it must recharge for a bit… erm… I guess so. :\

Darn, a loophole already?! Sighs
What map?

Is a dismounted Turret okay?

Also, my map is High Ground.

> Is a dismounted Turret okay?

My weapon of choice would be the railgun, and the map I’d choose would be Last Resort.

The Scarab gun on guardian
 I win.

Well then. It does seem I’ve overlooked some things.

Yes, turret is okay, since it has it’s downsides (slow movement pace) and it has to be given an overheat time.

It’s UNSC turret, not plasma though. That is all.

Wow… just when I began to think there wasn’t any more loopholes… go sit in the corner, and think about you’ve done.

Just joking. But from here on out, Target Designators and Scarab guns are off-limits! Turrets I will allow… facepalm

Ok…how 'bout a glassing beam…on Erosion. There’s only one point of entrance, and a glassing beam basically fills it, so I’d be safe the whole time…

No, it isn’t a Target Designator or a Scarab gun, so it’s allowed…right?

I choose longbow.

#NailedIt
I have thought about what I have done, so now I come to a conclusion
MAC Cannon!
Loopholes OVERWHELMING!

EDIT: Due to suspision of modified content within the video, I have removed link.
It was a flying wheelchair with weapons…
" The UNSC Wheelchair"

Sarah Palmer’s Magnums. Duct tape 'em together, pull both triggers at once, one-shot everything.

Sniper Rifle, Death Island

Plasma pistol?

EMP a banshee then hijack it, hijack a phantom and board the covie ships. Get home with one of them? On ragnarok maybe?

How about midship and binary rifle? Snipe out a bunch of covies and make my way to the control room them get home?

Halo 3 Magnum on Snowbound.

That would be a life-scarring experience.

Missile pod on Ragnarok.

Sandtrap with halo 3 BR

I happen to quite enjoy Snowbound…

On that note, I think I would have to go with the Grenade Launcher on Last Resort. A weapon that’s challenging and satisfying to use which happens to be effective against infantry and vehicles? Check. Map that has excellent vehicle and on-foot combat, therefore allowing me to take on the Covenant any way I wish? Check.

What isn’t there to love?

Sniper on Glacier. I’d jetpack up to that sweet spot above spawn and pick them off one by one.

No loopholes here, I WIN! :stuck_out_tongue:

+_+

May you glass yourself. Though I must say, Erosion is probably one of the better choices because of what you said: a single opening.

Where on the map would one of those even fit?! Though it is pretty cool…

I swear, if somebody utters the word ‘Composer’ in here, you can go jion Cizlin and Cyanades in the corner.
