One vs Series X. AA, ttk, tracking are all better.

The last 2 days I played on an Xbox one. Today I’m playing on a new series x. My tracking and ability to keep the reticle on the opponent is much, much better. I actually feel competitive now. Not so many wtf moments either so far. So all of us that have had issues with ttk and AA I’m thinking hardware does matter. Maybe I’m mental and imagining it but I doubt it lol.

Unless you’re talking about with the sniper or the skewer then yes, you are mental. No changes have been made to any of the other weapons and it feels just as trash as it did in flight one.

Just to reiterate. The last 2 days I would not even pick up the br. It was useless to me. Today I’m getting perfect kills across the courtyard on live fire with it. I’m also getting pistol kills which was a impossible before. Melee is also much easier.

I actually feel bad for old console users. They won’t last long at all. I wonder if the same thing applies to pc players?

Probably the framerate difference (30 vs 120). FWIW you can get 60fps on the One X which feels pretty good.

No, I’m sorry. Not trying to be disrespectful but you are very wrong. I’m not saying changes made to the weapon but to the performance which makes it much easier to operate the weapons. Maybe it’s frame rate. I don’t know. What I know for absolute certain is that I can track much, much easier now. I can easily keep the reticle on someone’s head while zoomed in. I couldn’t even keep it on the body while zoomed out before. I’ve played all weekend and I can tell you playing on the Xbox x feels like a different game. I’m actually having fun today.

I’ll have to check that out next flight. Thank you.

Sounds like a framerate and possibly resolution difference. 720p 30fps vs 4k 120fps are huge differences after all

So I wonder if this is the answer to all of our posts about AA since both both console and pc people are complaining.

It’s harder to aim in this game, the stats don’t lie.

I’m playing on a Series X but agree you would be at a disadvantage on an X1 due to frame rate.

Time to kill is definitely a bit too fast, if two people are teamshotting you die in 0.5 seconds. No time to react, you aren’t helping your team by trying to stay alive or return fire, dead before you know what’s happening.

I do agree ttk is too fast.

you might be performing better because of the better framerate, but the aiming, aim assist and bullet magnetism are still dogsh*t on series X. I’m in the flight on both series X and PC and I can’t hit the broad side of a barn compared to MCC.

Yeah, higher framerates and resolutions are going to give you an advantage (mostly framerate), especially if you have a high refresh rate display.

It makes a much bigger difference than most people realise. Generally games have had problems separating their mechanics (physics, reload times etc) from the framerate, it’s extremely common that actual game mechanics will work differently on different framerates.

Even til this day, most mouse acceleration in game (not sensitivity) is affected by your framerate. It would not in the least bit surprise me to find out that the strength of the auto-aim in this halo is affected by your framerate (even it it wasn’t, playing an shooter on 30fps is putting yourself at a massive disadvantage) - considering how poorly put together the game feels so far (for a AAA game in 2021).

I literally went from having 5 and 20 games to 20 and 5 games. I think I had 2 games under 1 to 1 kd and they were both objective. Might have had 2 wtf moment times. It’s night and day. On my series x I had fun versus the last 2 days I figured I would play campaign and never mp. I can’t say enough how much easier it is getting head shots.

I have zero doubt this is the issue. Most people are saying frame rate. I don’t know. Above my pay grade. All I can tell you is I have went straight from a One to a series X so I can, without a doubt, tell you the huge difference.
