I hate playing those that spam one unit the entire match, and never change their tactic. They spam banshees only, or only hunters, etc (having a few nightingales/engineers doesn’t count as diverse) It’s just really boring. Does anybody have fun fighting countless spam of the same unit? The problem isn’t that it’s too effective, just boring.
Personally I prefer it… Very easier to counter and I get a sick satisfaction from crushing the enemies army. Haha. I wish the skirmish AI was more like them tbh…
But for real. Please fix the skirmish AI. It’s got so many problems…

If they spam Hunters use rangers to distract them while you flank with suicide grunts.

I don’t have problems stopping it (unless my partner isn’t holding his weight) but I find it very boring. I enjoy fighting diverse armies, and love the satisfaction that comes with countering one.

Yeah I get that, it was more problematic earlier seasons when AA sucked. Let them be simple minded, in the end you’re the one who grows as a player not them.

Actually if they spam Hunters just use some air, they can’t touch you.
If they spam hunters, go only shrouds. They’ll never see it coming.

Good ol’ Shroud dude, so misunderstood so underused.

I see what chu did ther.
You could use it to your advantage, but it also has a disadvantage too. I usually spam infantry to overwhelm the player, it really helps if I can get a base or mini-base near them. Usually I’ll have to mix it up about halfway through, with something else.

“I hate playing those that spam one unit the entire match, and never change their tactic.”
Why hate on a noob? Counter, push, Win.
"Does anybody have fun fighting countless spam of the same unit?
No, Not really.
Fortunately these types of games don’t last long.
“The problem isn’t that it’s too effective, just boring.”
Welcome to the grind.
Them damn Cannon Fodder
I love. Especially when opponents make All sentinels (thank goodness it isn’t season 1 lol)
One unit spamming was and still is a problem in Halo Wars DE. Arbiter early game only using Suicide Grunts are super annoying. Half the time i can’t stop em’ before they nuke my turrets and reactors. Super not fun.

Are you a Starcraft player by chance?? Because I can totally relate to wanting to fight diverse armies as opposed to one unit spams.
Rushers are braindead. I get on hoping for a long strategic game with others that enjoy playing, not just getting fast wins. Sure, I counter most rushes but -Yoink- me… 15 minute match isn’t worth it.
Spamming Hornets, Banshees, or Sentinels makes for the best tactic possible in this game. The only way to counter that is to have anti-air units stay at your base. If more people did this, then I would switch it up. Until then, I’ll keep it up.
Itd all viable strategies rushing/banshees
But a big encounter vs big encounter is short lived by leader powers, so if your atriox or any hard hitting leader, you lose. No satisfaction in your army getting wiped due to lagg or something like that
Once a rush ia countered the ball is in your park, dont complain about it all, adapt and move on.
If they make only one unit, it’s kind’ve funny cause they are taking a gigantic risk, and will end either in you finding out that they are extremely smart, and will immediately change their unit composition to counter exactly what you are using to counter their spam, or ending in them being extremely dumb and continuing to spam brutes, getting angry at why his tactic wasn’t working like it was a few minutes ago.
If someone is spamming, you gotta counter, it’s hard to do so, but you gotta go over to his base and see what he’s doin, or else you’ll end up guessing the wrong unit, because it’s as easy as dousing a fire if you know exactly what’s going to happen in the next five minutes.
This is partly why (AT ONE POINT) it was easy to predict and counter a Forge since you knew exactly what type of unit his abilities catered to, in this case vehicles, and knew how to counter it, forcing him to change up his tactic.
its fun to counter them when they don’t know what to do afterwards, haha!

That doesn’t work all that well. I had a game where I was hornet spammed and just started pumping out Reavers. They didn’t last long. Upgraded Banshees and Hornets are near unstoppable even with anti-air. Only fighting fire with fire seems to work.
