Is the slot machine. You’re meant to get more credits if you do well in games and stuff like that but I still get 200-400 CR. Where’s the 1000-2000? I feel like I’ve be leveling for like ever. 343i I have huge respect for you guys, is there something you can do to improve it? This doesn’t mean implement 1-50 because that would be dumb.
I agree completly but the slot machine is just random so that’s not the issue. What they should do is add a bonus forwinning games.
They actually do add a bonus in the performance section of the credit gain. Its just small. like 100-200 cR

You get more credits when you get to higher ranks.
one time i got 3000 credits on the slot 4 games in a row. i actually ended up turning it off before it stopped giving me the 3000 credits. no idea why it was doing that though since i actually quit quite often

Anyway, the slot machine (I used to call it differently; just remove the top of the O) used to give only around 70 - 100 credits per game for a long time; until February IIRC. It was actually rare that I got a 3-digit amount. But now I get around 250 - 300 credits per game on average and I’m happy with that. After all, it’s only a small bonus.
And come to think of it, the slot machine is yet another luck-based mechanic in Reach. Were Bungie trying to create the game with the most luck-dependent features or what? ^^

It does really feel like I’ve been leveling up for years. I’m Colonel grade 3 and I’ve been trying to get to brig for about 2 months now. I play daily and attempt challenges. Man, it’s going to take forever.

Just wait until you are a Brig Grade 3. Man, it’s like going through Warrant Officer all over again.
general grade 3 here, get usually 250-450 credits, sometimes 900-1000, every once in a while 3000.

It does. I’m Mythic right now, and I get anywhere between 2000-4000 cR for Invasion and Big Team Battle games (if the game’s time limit is played out, the game complete is around 3000 per game). I get around 2-4k for Firefight games.
