Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but are there no water effects in this game?
Like, if you shoot at, or grenade water, are there no water effects?
There are so few maps with water, I don’t think it really matters. But I do think that there are ‘water effects’.

Wzff has no water effects. I always thought it was to prevent lag, but I don’t remember seeing it campaign either
You can hear footsteps splashing in water, I think. Other than that, there aren’t many more interactions with it that I’ve noticed. Nothing floats, which is a real shame because few things made me laugh more in Halo than seeing dead bodies floating down the river in Valhalla.
I remember saw a video when there is water in a map and if somebody has camo you can watch the effect of the foorsteps in the water
