Hello guys,
Reach lacked one thing for me in particular, no not Armor Lock and all that good stuff related to Multiplayer.
No, I’m talking about a Legendary Ending!
Halo 4 needs it back in my opinion, I really loved them.
So what do you think?
'Tis my last post for today, so I’ll check back later to see the replies.
Sorry friend, all hope was lost the second 343 took the reins from Bungie.
Yes. Halo 4 needs a Legendary ending.
> Sorry friend, all hope was lost the second 343 took the reins from Bungie.
I fail to see how you came up with that conclusion. They remastered the ce ending with a alternate version (johnson grabbing the elite’s butt instead of the other way around.)
Could be…it would be cool.
If anything Halo 6 should have a Legendary ending.
> Sorry friend, all hope was lost the second 343 took the reins from Bungie.
What do you mean by this?
OT: I would love to see a Legendary Ending of sorts for Halo 4. Imagine this scenario:
- Beat the game: Secret ending after the credits
- Beat the game on Legendary: Secret Ending + Legendary Ending
- Beat the game on Legendary in 1 sitting: Secret Ending + Legendary Ending + Extra Secret Ending.
That’s what I’d like to see. I think.

The 1st and 2nd are plausible, but the third is highly unlikely as it punishes the “nooby” players that are either new to the franchise or aren’t good at video games, or simply players who don’t have the time. I assume you mean play the game through mission by mission on Legendary without breaks in between, not getting the disk and playing it through like that the very first time you play campaign, right? :S
> Sorry friend, all hope was lost the second 343 took the reins from Bungie.
Hate troll is hateful.
OT: YES!!! It totally needs a Legendary ending.
I wonder if they’ll do a special scene after the credits…
> Sorry friend, all hope was lost the second 343 took the reins from Bungie.
I didn’t know you played Halo 4.
How’d you get your hands on it so early?
> Sorry friend, all hope was lost the second 343 took the reins from Bungie.
343i didn’t take the reins from Bungie, Bungie gave Microsoft the rains the minute they signed the deal to have Halo on the original Xbox, from that point on, Microsoft owns Halo.
On Topic, Reach’s ending wasn’t that legendary, but it was good in it’s own way. But I do agree that Halo 4 needs a really epic ending, and unlike Neon Bullet, I think 343i will give us a better ending than Bungie has. So far from what I’ve seen in Halo 4’s campaign, it’s turning out to be a very epic campaign, and one can only dream of what kind of ending 343i has in store for us.
What about the whole impossibly hard thing where you destroy the Pillar of Autumn…?
Anyways, it’s kind of a Halo tradition to have something after the credits. With 343I wanting to please fans and being fans themselves, I’m positive that there is going to be a Legendary ending. It’s just one of those things.
I think the possibility of legendary endings is promising. As mentioned, 343 wants to please fans, and what better way than a cliffhanger at the end of every campaign. I was very disappointed when Reach had no legendary ending.

Least intelligent comment of all time. Microsoft is the publisher whereas 343I is responsible for developing the game and had the majority of input into Halo 4. Pull up Halo on wiki and this is the first line you’ll see “Halo is a multi-billion dollar science fiction video game franchise created by Bungie and now managed by 343 Industries and owned by Microsoft Studios”. Skewing my own words to fit your bias is slightly disturbing, I see 343I has you on a short leash. Once again, all hope was lost the second 343 took the reins from Bungie.

Why are you so against 343i? I think they’re doing a good job with Halo 4, and if you don’t see it you are crazy. Actually, I have more hope for Halo 4 after what I’ve seen. After Halo Reach, I lost hope… And of course theres going to be a legendary ending, Every Halo game besides Reach had one, Its not like 343 would change that.
I’m sure they’re will be one, as to hint at the Halo 5 story line.
With Reach there was nothing they could really do.

343 Industries has brainwashed the masses by releasing the same product (Halo Reach) and giving it a different name (Halo 4).
I believe they plan on doing this for many more years to come after they saw Infinity Ward’s tactics of releasing the same product (COD) year after year working because people still bought it.
It’s quite simple actually, not only do they have to do less work but they also gain more money. I see the truth and it is because of this that I must save you from yourselves.
“A great revolution in just one single individual will help achieve a change in the destiny of a society and, further, will enable a change in the destiny of humankind.”

I don’t see why they wouldn’t. After all it would be rude to not uphold the tradition of having a legendary ending.

I like how you think Halo 4 is going to be a reskinned Halo Reach. So, a completely new engine built ground up, Spartan Ops, Infinity Multiplayer(connecting all game modes) A brand new campaign extending the main storyline, an actual ranking system, New balanced AA’s, customizable balanced loadouts and new gametypes were all in Halo Reach?I didn’t know. Second of all, the people that work at 343i contains Bungie members, genius developers from very successful franchises(Metroid, Metal Gear and more) And people that actually love Halo, unlike Infinity Ward who just contain low budget inexperienced developers who just copy and paste from other franchises? Halo veterans, MLG pros and long time fans have ACTUALLY PLAYED Halo 4 at E3, which still wasnt the final version, and said that it still feels like Halo yet contains new fun aspects? Theres no lie there. Also, more statistics. How long have 343i worked on Halo 4? since before Halo Reach released. How long does Infinity Ward work on a CoD game? less than year. Don’t even deny that you will also buy Halo 4 like the rest of us. You can, but i for sure know you’re going to be missing out.

Dude, don’t bother, he’s a troll account, all he does is post hate post about 343i, because he’s been brainwashed, and all he’s doing is wasting his time.
