Do you guys remember in halo 2 when you could hear the other team talking/strategizing through their mics? That was a lot of fun! You could easily find people who were camping this way, find out what they were planning on doing, or even talk smack. Think it’d be awesome if this feature was brought back, but then again the way people report players now a days might cause a problem.

I couldn’t remember if it was in reach, fondest memories were in halo 2 though!
With the use of parties I doubt anyone actually heard anything in reach. All I ever heard were racial insults and the questionable nature of several persons sexuality.
I do remember once in halo 3 I was crouching on top of one of the bases on standoff, two guys going over their battle plan. The exchange went roughly like this;
Red - we’ll get the rockets/warthog/camo/whateverthehell and then-
Me: Hi
silence
Red: are you blue?
Me: yeeaah
silence
Red: Go away
Me: Naah, it’s fun up here.
Red: dude cmon
Me: nah
Red: where are you?
Me: nah
And so on. Not so funny on the outside but it was very…clerks-like. It was all in the delivery.
I remember one time playing team slayer on Halo 3 with buddies. A few minutes into the game 3 of the enemy team quit or lagged out leaving us 4v1. I got up close to him and opened fire then he yelled"don’t kill me,don’t kill me. I just wanna chat". My team of sat in the middle of guardian chatting and showing off trick jumps till the timer ran down.
That guy is now on my friend list and I talk to him most days.
Guess that won’t be happening again.

Hahaha aww the memories, have had that happen before as well! Would show off glitches and super jumps

I don’t suggest using the word “bump” in any thread; mods don’t like it and treat it as spam. And if you wish to ‘bump’ you should post additional information/questions kinda like you did.
That aside, I miss it yes! I remember hearing people say “Sec, I’m sneaking up on this guy”, XD.
