One thing from H5 in Infinite

If you had to choose one thing that is unique to Halo 5 to be in Infinite, what would it be? Please try to only pick one to keep the topic more interesting.

You can pick something obvious like default thrusters or the hydra launcher. Or something more subtle like the Kill feed (all previous games were words. H5 has graphics). Or maybe a map.

I’d want scripting from Halo 5 forge because it is such an excellent tool for making awesome maps and game types.

The way you worded this by allowing small subtle things too now has me conflicted. There’s quite a few things I’d keep from Halo 5 in that regard.

I guess I’d choose the post-game menu. After a few updates, a lot of love went towards that.

I’m having trouble picking between the after battle report, the kill feed, grenade markers, and Smart link.

  2. seeker helmet
  3. easy weapon lowering (no super complex button combos and can be done online)

I’m not sure what you are referring to. Would you mind expanding?

I really like that weapons are outlined on the battlefield. Sometimes it’s difficult to see the green gun in a bunch of grass on H3

He’s referring to being able to switch seats in a vehicle while you’re in it. Like switching from driver to gunner in the warthog.

This is actually one of the things I hated above H5. The weapon markers and outlines make it too easy. It was more fun back in the day to have to look around and spot weapons on the go.

See I’m not sure if you can classify this as unique to Halo 5… but bringing back the Classic Scope for some weapons after launching with SmartLink was really awesome.

For Halo Infinite, if SmartLink is to return, I would also like the Classic Scope. Either as a setting or maybe every weapon has a Classic Scope option, however I think the setting would be easier.

I’d like for thrust to return in some shape or form
byt I’d like for ground pound and spartan charge to be taken out just sprint and thrust

i greatly enjoy the HCS settings in halo and the way the gameplay feels that’s what I think the standard of halo infinite should be.

Halo 5 gameplay would be perfect without spartan charge or groundpound
