I totally disagree. The AR is one of the things that I really hate. I’m not a bad player, but there is nothing more frustrating than someone with an AR being able to just sprint in, run straight at you and spray you to death because you missed one shot with your precision weapon. It is way too effective and the long end of mid range.
In my opinion, they should either increase its spread or make its damage trail off at a distance.

Right from CE, the Assault Rifle has always been the weapon you couldn’t wait to get rid of, its now awesome at what it does - about the only thing 343 got right.

(on a side note is there a skin for the Storm Rifle? if so havent seen one yet.)
How about “don’t use a precision loadout weapon if you intend on fighting close range?” Pretty simple isn’t it? Or if you’re going to use a recision weapon, use a viable offhand to make close range more suitable. Bolt shot is super powerful when charged, and plasma pistol for instant head shot after. It’s about playing smart not thinking a precision weapon will be the answer to every situation.
