Seriously, in Warzone, how often does the losing team make it past 500 points? Don’t get me wrong, it seems to happen every now and then, when the game is very tight and exciting, but for me at least, these kind of games seem few and far between. I’ll admit, I used to find it fun when I was on a team that was completely dominating the other team, but now it’s just boring. It feels like a shooting gallery half the time. As for when I’m on the losing team, it’s simply frustrating and borderline hopeless. I have a few thoughts as to why this is, but I was wondering whether this is a common occurrence and whether anybody who has thought about this for longer than me knows whether this is something that could be fixed without completely breaking that game?
Smurfs are running rampant in Arena… they’re in like 50% of my matches anymore. Last night I went up against a team of 3 Champions, 2 were top 25… and an unranked smurf. Most Platinum players I now go up against play like high Onyx ranks (I have consistently had no problem competing with Diamond, Onyx, even some Champion players up until recently)… Now there are lag spikes nearly every match, and it’s somehow the hardest thing in the world to hit my shots…
No idea what’s going on in Arena but the ranks are highly skewed, connection quality is nearing an all-time low, and the aiming mechanics seem to fluctuate from match to match… there’s been some input lag occasionally with melees (and ghost melees)… The game just feels like a mess right now, idk.

Lag spikes have been ruining some of my games recently. On a couple of occasions, I’ve been randomly booted to the load/menu screen with some of the in game audio playing on a loop in the background, forcing me to reboot the game. It’s especially annoying when I have a legendary boost equipped. This has happened in Warzone and Arena too. Honestly have no idea what’s happening to this game at the moment…
I find i have more fun in warzone assault.

My warzone matches are usually close in points, I’d say the winning team usually wins by a margins of 200 at the most in my experience.
