So, not too long ago, I decided to play more Firefight. When I faced Deacon Pipap on “Attack on Sanctum,” I decided to use a Sniper against him. I don’t remember why I thought a Sniper Rifle was a good idea against a Goblin, but it paid off really well when this happened.
I still have no idea how, but the “End of the Line” Sniper Rifle one-shot Deacon Pipap at half-health. If anyone wanted a quick way to kill him, this might be the answe-- I mean, the end of the line.
That is all.
EDIT: Did it again. I put it here.

What kind of sorcery is this? also, that last line was clever
Works with any binary as well. fact
I best bet that it went thorugh the Grunt Goblin into Deacon Pipap head.
very interesting. How are you so lucky that it killed him so easily. Also great pun.
It looks like the cockpit was already setup for the shot from my perspective.
busted cockpit and sniper headshot
I love how you just kind of looked around in shock at how effective you were. I would have done the exact same thing if I pulled that off.

Holy crap! I’ve been so frustrated going up against Grunt Mechs. I gotta try this out.
thanks OP
The reason you got him was because your teammates pooped the shield canopy off the mech, and you hit the grunt that was inside before the shield came back.

I know you can pop the shield, but it was still up when I shot him, and I shot at the weakened part of the Goblin, rather than at the Unggoy inside. That’s where I’m confused.
I’m gonna try that. Makes sense that it would work.
Pretty fancy shooting Spartan. Thanks for the vine.

The cockpit was clearly still shielded.
Some sort of sorcery indeed. You definitely got credit for a Grunt Kill, which means you must’ve killed the pilot. This requires further testing… everyone break off the front and try sniping the flaming mess that remains!
Well -Yoink-, now I feel stupid for selling off all of my sniper rifles. Looks like the Grunt Goblin’s days on round 5 of Apex 7 are numbered.
People really need to start shooting him in the head. It’s a major weakspot just like a regular Grunt, especially once the cockpit is busted.
I have yet to replicate this in-game, but I’ll keep trying.
Alright, who turned on the “Action Hero” skull?
