The forum seems to be divided across a large fault line over what we’ve seen of Halo 4 so far. So, let’s take the middle ground:

Post one positive thing, and one negative thing, about what we’ve seen so far.

I’ll go first:

POSITIVE: I really love the Master Chief’s new look and the new art direction overall.

NEGATIVE: I really, really don’t like the idea of customizeable loadouts.

The BR sounds good (mechanically, not sound wise)

This game is going to be a casual mess. (Sums up everything wrong with the game in one line. Awesome)

Oh this should be easy.

POSITIVE: The BR is back (hopefully replacing le DMR)

NEGATIVE x9000: PERKS!!! Wtf 343 don’t appeal to the players over at that horrible franchise which keeps re-re-re-re-releasing its games.

  • Don´t know if this development is good for the franchise. We will see.

But I´m confident with 343. Halo 4 WILL be Halo.

I hope so…

  • They’re progressing with gameplay and including new elements rather than letting Halo stagnate with it’s outdated gameplay.
  • This game didn’t really even need to be made.

GOOD:

-the BR is back
-No Health System anymore(or at least no health packs needed)
-No bloom

BAD:

-Sprint

Bad things we have not seen in the video:

-Perks
-Loadouts/AAs
-Different Ranking System
-No beta
-Sprint of course
-More guns we dont need
-Assassinations

Positive: It’s a new Halo game and it’s going to be fun to explore.
Negative: It could either make or break Halo depending upon how well it’s received.

Positive: Game looks great, sounds great, and I imagine it plays fine. Negative? I hate the BR. Or at least the Halo 3 one. 2 was okay, I guess.
