TBH, the main reason I want collision back is so I can push AFK teammates to hide them in corners and such so they aren’t such easy free kills.
Pretty sure having no player collision is catering to the casual players
a lot of puzzle mechanics where you have to rely on your fellow teammates to jump on there heads to climb over obstacles is gonna be gone now and thats a shame becuase thats what made the collision fun in infection mazes and stuff
Let’s be honest, the lack of collision isn’t catering to anyone. Just another example of 343 trying to fix something that isn’t broken.
The real sad part is that if it were to get added back in, who knows what it would break.
That’s bull though. You can’t even do maze maps without collision because players need to be able to jump on eachother to figure out puzzles.
Again, why does it fall on us to say “Well atleast we’ll have grifball, etc…” When how about they just make better decisions with the game so we don’t have to sacrifice more gamemodes.
That is the real issue here. The inherent lack of understanding that’s gone into Halo this past decade that has us scrapping for bare minimum. No thanks.
Very valid points. If this is not addressed infection will be broken IMO.
If forge releases without collision then forge is done for.
Guy who doesn’t know anything about game development
Thinks
He
Knows
about game development
one of my forge friends
where is he? Why should we listen to him?
This seriously f*cks me off!
So… I can run through a team mate, but then when I walk backwards (back through them of course) and throw a grenade… BOOOOOM I’m dead… ![]()

Yep. Slow down or stop to throw a grenade, running team mate behind you ends up in front of you, the grenade you just threw bounces off them and lands at your own feet. Happened to me many times.
I used to hate being bumped or pushed by team mates as you were firing but his is way worse. Instead of putting your aim off they just end up in front of you and block your line of fire.
It’s stupid.
