One More Remake.

Hey guys so I’ve seen pretty much everything about the Valhalla remake and it looks pretty awesome, I was definitely ok with this map in Halo 3 its awesome for sniping and alot of fun gameplay, but I think that 343 should put in atleast one more remake with some DLC or even a whole Remake Map Pack.

Think about it they already said it themselves that they’re keeping with tradition by putting a remake in the game, but most of the games have had more then just one remake.

Halo 3 had Cold Storage, Blackout and Heretic in DLC. Reach had Pinnacle, Asylum and Hemmorage (sort of), Reflection and then almost every Halo 1 map with CEA, Some might say thats to many remakes which I would agree with in Reaches case but 2 maybe 3 remakes would be a good amount especially if they were given a new color or backdrop even a new theme.

My vote for a remake map would be The Pit.

Its a good symmetrical map with a good balance of power weapons and positioning places throughout the map and changing some very simple visual cues like the wall color the hanger feel the roof has to it and even the mountain in the far off landscape, could make it feel like a whole new map. As well as it going along with the story ark of multiplayer.

Multiplayer/War Games is supposed to be training simulations of Spartans fighting in battle and The Pit is a training area set in a UNSC base so in my opinion is would fit perfectly in Halo 4.

Either The Pit or High Ground.

I’m the kind of guy who loves couch customs, and these were the maps that my friends and I loved to play in Halo 3 (along with Valhalla). As a matter of fact, we still play them today!

The pit was probably one of the favorite halo 3 maps, im shocked it still has not been remade yet, considering the collaberation with the competitive community, I figured it would be the Halo 4 remake.

I want the pit remade-- absolutely love this map, could play it all day and not get tired of it.

Def the pit or sandtrap I loved the pit on swat.

Sandtrap would’ve been great, but I’m leaning more towards Avalanche/Sidewinder.
It’s been too long since we had a good Snowy Forerunner BTB map.

i would LOOOOVE a remake of the pit, but i wonder if new weapons/armor abilities/movement will ruin the experience.

choice number two would be guardian but im sure the new sandbox kills that map.

No more remakes… please no more remakes.
I like them, don’t get me wrong, but the novelty of remake maps gets pretty old fast. I don’t know about anyone else, but after a while I realize they could have spent the time making a new ‘classic’. I prefer a new surprise to sticking in a comfort zone. Sometimes new maps suck and it doesn’t work out, other times the new map becomes a favorite.

I don’t want any remakes. They’re not very good maps and would never work with the gameplay.

Pinnacle and hemmorhage are perfect examples or horribly broken maps.

New maps or nothing.

We need Sandtrap…

and I wouldn’t mind another Zanzibar remake… Classic map.

I vote that if they remake another map it should be map that can’t currently be played on Xbox LIVE, IE Any Halo Ce or Halo 2 maps, that includes PC and Xbox versions.

NOT maps that have been remade or is in Halo 3 and Reach

They should enlarge Terminal and allow players to ride the train around the map. It would be a like four different stops and the players would have to rush on. It would be really cool for capture the flag or assault.

Pit would be cool. I might need to be a little be longer though. Like halways strected out and stuff.

For Forge purposes, I’d like a mix between Sandbox and Sandtrap with new and existing objects, and the same with Standoff and Foundry.

That’d be the best thing ever, and’d add SO much replay value to the game, more than any other map.

They already made Valhalla they aren’t going to remake another large map like Sandtrap, they already have 4-5 BTB capable maps it would have to be something small to medium sized.
