Does anyone think there will be one more DLC possibly including 2 new specializations?
There are 130 ranks, that number seems a bit odd to stop at compared to 150.
There are 2 weapons that don’t get secondary skins through specializations.
343 keeps using the phrase “the last map pack included with the map pack pass”.
Does anyone else notice this or am I just looking too far into this?
I hope there’ll be more, but I don’t think there will be.
Well, if 343i announcing raising the Rank Cap to 150, then i expect two new specializations, however, i think it will take time to do that. With regards with another or two other DLC’s, i have a “hunch” that their will be two “surprise” DLC map packs, featuring 2 or 3 maps from Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo Reach. Who agrees?

If 343 put’s a single Reach map into Halo 4 I’d probably call it quits and this is coming from someone that enjoys both Reach and Halo 4. The maps in Reach were just horrendous though. Also, I never want to see another Halo 3 map ever again. Remakes in general can kinda just die out tbh. If remakes do come about H2 maps are the only ones I would even want remade at this point.
Just because they’re saying the Castle pack is “the last map pack included in the map pack pass” definitely doesn’t mean for sure that there will be more DLC. A good example of this is the Gears of War 3 season pass. After the fifth DLC pack was released, Epic kept saying “this is the last DLC included in the season pass”, however there was never any other DLC released for the game. I think they planned to release more, but instead just included it in their spinoff GoW: Judgement.
I think Halo 4 will be different than that though. Every Halo traditionally has at least 4 or 5 map packs, and this was only number 3 for H4. So if there isn’t at least 1 more map pack to add at least another 3 maps, I’ll be pretty disappointed. Especially since they were all released within 6 months of the games release.
As far as the specializations go, they should definitely add more. Personally, I’ve only gone through 3 and am almost done with my 4th, but I see A LOT of SR-130’s out there, and I’m sure that they’re not happy about maxing out their rank so fast. That, and I’m pretty sure within the next couple of months, I’ll probably be an SR-130, as well as a majority of the population still playing Halo 4. It’d definitely be wise on 343i’s end to add specializations, as well as increase the level cap.

lol, nah, if Reach maps appear, I can deal with them. Im more into the classic halo CE, Halo 2 maps, like Penance, Prisoner, etc. But I understand where your coming from on that.
What kinds of armor mods do you think would come with new specializations? I think one that speeds up charge time on charge-up weapons could be pretty neat.

Ehm Halo 3 had Heroic 2 and I think one more… So Not every Halo Game ends up with 3 dlc

I guess you’re correct.
But when you think about it, both the Mythic Pack for H3 as well as the Anniversary pack for HR had 6 maps each, which is basically 2 map packs in one… So in a way, they all had about 4 map packs (or 12 DLC maps) after their initial release.
If Halo 4 stopped where it’s at, it’d have fewer maps than any other Halo game to date. That was the main point I was trying to make.
I think it’s clear 343 want the halo community to create maps for now, I can see more map pack/s in H4s future to purchase along with the proposed micro transactions.

They also had 2 more maps out a couple of months before Halo 3. 2 maps for $4. Hang em High remake and one other one

no once you get to level 50, you choose a specialization which for some reason skips you to level 51. Same goes for 60, 70, 80. etc.

Hopefully theres an Anniversary Map Pack or Classic Map Pack in halo 4 in the future.
