One Major Frustration Not Fixed in Warzone FF

Of all the new updates to Halo 5, the one thing not fixed was vehicular betrayals. This is still problemous, seeing that I am one of the few who cannot go one match without a player killing me in a Warthog in the early or later matches, ghosts, and Wraiths.

There’s plenty of room to drive the vehicles, yet I come across at least one different person per match who actively targets my player with their vehicles, most likely trolls. This isn’t limited to just one player, sometimes there’s multiple players in a rush to beat that “first place” mark per match who will run players over engaging ground forces just to rack up most kills quicker.
I’ve been splattered in areas where vehicles shouldn’t even be, like on the rock cliffs of Escape from ARC, or the upper Fortress of Skirmish at Darkstar. I try very hard to avoid oncoming vehicles also, so it isn’t my fault as a player.
Last time this happened, which was yesterday, I spawned in with Jorge’s Changun, walked out the doorway of an armory and was splattered almost instantly. This is a vexing issue that should be addressed and fixed in a later patch.

At this point I don’t see why there isn’t a feature to turn off the splatter physics. Before you tell me this isn’t possible, it was an option in Halo: Reach and Halo 4, and didn’t send your player flying across the map. It can still be implemented as a safeguard for players not losing good REQs in later rounds due to ignorant and unsporting players.

Yep I dislike this feature but after monitors bounty I think they will probably fix it.

Good point, I think if you are run over by accident (or on purpose), you should keep your gear, that also means anyone attempting to get high level reqs will have to think again.

Sorry a couple of those might have been me. sometimes splattering enemies is the fastest way to clear an area. unfortunately I will bump or splat friendlies who are in the thick of it.

Yeah i do see this a lot, it’s quite worrying! Just yesterday someone shoulder charged my scout hog, flipped it, jumped and i don’t joke drove it straight off the map, i was going to message the player but thought i’d just block them so i hopefully won’t see them again, was actually shocked,

This, I have accidentally smashed teammates before and generally it’s when there are a group of enemies and teammates are jumping around in the middle of the road. I agree with you though, I don’t know why allies can be splattered, it’s only used to troll.

I could be understanding if it’s accidental, there’s a difference between the way people drive. But when intentional or to clear an area people drive head on into players. This is why the feature needs removed, that way players don’t lose their items or die in round four or five unfairly, and not be able to contribute to helping the team complete said rounds.
