I think the ONLY thing that MCc is ultimately missing is Halo 5. I remember 343 said they won’t be adding it into mcc, I’m curious though, after infinite came out, if this sentiment remains? I know there’s probably way more work that would go into it than many might realize. But, halo 5 being added some way, even if attached similar to how Call Of Duty or Battlefield does, where there’s just a button that switches your menu over to halo 5 would be helpful. With this, adding a fov slider and pc capabilities would be a wrap for me. It would become an even greater halo collection, especially with the over all feel of halo 5 and the reqs and armory.

It won’t happen due to a technical reason. Halo MCC is at it’s limit. Adding anymore engines will break the game. Battlefield just adds shortcuts to other games…this isn’t really the same as MCC. Plus I think most people would hate if added in awful REQ packs into MCC.

Yea I agree. I realized this INSTANTLY after posting this. Maybe just updating h5 with a Fov slider lmao. I think the most realistic request with h5 nowadays is updating xbox version with keyboard mouse controls allowed, fov slider added. Or, a PC port in its entirety. I think having a simple button to switch the game over to h5 would also be a reasonable request even tho it’s pretty pointless If you wanna do more than menu camp.
Fov slider for h5 PLEEEEEASE it’d become sooooo much more repayable for me lol I want to play and love halo 5 more but that dang what-feels-like 40fov makes me feel so motion sick, infinite and MCC did us sooo nice adding those settings in
I will always agree with the idea of porting Halo 5 to PC, but never under the pretext of being in the MCC.
thanks to Halo 5 Forge, it’s already semi ported to PC as a standalone, however it needs hefty clean up before they can add the rest of the game to it, or consider bringing it to steam. (I hope they do this in due time)

Halo 5 won’t ever be in the mcc for technical reasons. Also, the mcc was initially made as a preparation, so to speak, for halo 5’s release.
Halo 5 could still come to pc, though, just as it’s own game. Forge will still be free, but the campaign and multiplayer would still, likely, be full price

There is a button in MCC that allows you to launch Halo 5 and Infinite, pretty sure it’s in the extras section of the main menu.

i think if halo 5 wont be added to mcc , it will be forgoten. at least add the campaign for the sake of the storyline. i havent played much of 5 multiplayer anyways. i have friends who only have pc and they dont understand what happend to cortana etc in infintie because they havent played 5
