I’m probably blaspheming 343, but have you considered providing a single free challenge skip per week? is it so irremediably harmful that it bankrupts you? 
the situation is really getting out of hand

I used all my challenge skips on an unreasonable challenge & every single swap was just as unreasonable so now I don’t have any and I can’t progress with the challenges, I hate this stupid progression system so much lol.

I think it would be more worthwhile to investigate why the community would need a free swap each week in the first place. It’d be far more useful to look at the problem source rather than patch solutions.

I can’t believe we have people defending a regressive progression system by telling people to ‘get good’ when challenge requirements can be so obscure & require certain modes you can’t queue for & weapons that won’t always spawn
the ENTIRE system depends on luck, tedious grinds & challenge-swap purchases, please don’t defend a system that works against you.

Have you even checked the new progression system? you LITERALLY can level up an entire level every day just by playing matches. 300 + 200 + 200 + 100 + 100 + 100 + 50------.
Regardless of whether or not the progression system is crap, the fact that you ‘‘can’t’’ progress is because you’re too lazy to do so.
YES the challenges can be obscure and utter dumb. Just don’t do them then. I have found that there’s only a handful of challenges that actually requires effort, and at least half of your challenges can be completed in the Bot Bootcamp which ALSO COUNTS TOWARDS YOUR PLAYED GAMES WHICH MEANS YOU EARN XP.
Just try to do the challenges or don’t, either way you’re guaranteed a level each day, at least 3 levels every day if you actually do your challenges.

Challenges reset weekly, so when they’re gone, they’re gone. You can expect at least 1 level per day, upped to 2 levels with XP boosts active.
‘At least 3 A day’ would only happen if you saved your challenges or happened to complete them over the week, most should expect 1 minimum without grinding.

Please, for the sake of other people’s sanity and the mental health of the 343 devs, stop complaining and actually play the game. CHALLENGE-ONLY PROGRESSION SYSTEM?? This haven’t been the case for over a week.
Yes, you used to only get 50XP but it’s still a per-match progression, and now they’ve upped that by literally handing you 1000XP every day in exchange for 6 quick matches. You can literally do them in half an hour by playing Bot Bootcamp.

Again, YES challenges are stupid, but guess what? For the two weeks the game has been out, I’ve completed my weekly challenges (including the unskippable premium challenge) ALL THREE TIMES. (two the first week since the progression were reset by the devs for everyone)
So yes, you’re really not trying. I hated the challenges because they’re stupid at best, but I managed them, so you should too. You just don’t want to put in the effort.
I’m not defending their challenge system, I hate it. It’s slow and something unreasonably though, but it works. You CAN complete them if you actually try.
Sure, let’s give you 300XP for every game permanently, by the end of December you’re done with the BP and you’re back on here -Yoink!- and moaning about how there’s no reason to play because you’re not leveling up, when it’s ENTIRELY your fault for forcing them to give it to you.
THEY ARE WORKING ON A NEW PROGRESSION SYSTEM, IT WILL TAKE TIME, IT WILL COME SOMETIME IN SPRING. BE PATIENT, DO YOU CHALLENGES AND DON’T CRY ON HERE BECAUSE YOU DON’T WANT TO PUT IN THE EFFORT.

I completely agree. At least 1 free skip each week, use it or lose it, at least while 343 is trying to improve the challenge system since there are still garbage challenges about.

I’ve literally used like 3 challenge swaps since the game came out. What are you having trouble completing?

Personally a I skip almost everything vehicle related due to the rarity of vehicle spawns in Halo Infinite arena and BTB, only do the splatters one if I get it. Destroy wraith/scorpion, destroy banshee/wasp, get 5 kills with wasp/banshee, get 5 kills with wraith, get 15 kills with gungoose cannons, get 15 kills with brute chopper cannons, get a dogfight medal (destroy a manned flying vehicle while in a flying vehicle), all too time consuming to grind them out currently. Most of the vehicles they have challenges for only spawn once per BTB match and you are competing with 11 other teammates to either get in your team’s vehicle or to be the one who gets the killing blow on the enemy vehicle. Apparently there is a guaranteed wasp that spawns more than once per match on Highpower at least, so I might start trying to do the get 5 wasp kills one at least.
I’m also considering skipping this get 3 savior medals from long distance one I got, I hear it is one of the hardest challenges currently in the randomization pool.
I regret to inform you that no, not everything is dependent on luck, while I’m not too fond of the challenge system, you are overexaggerating.
E.g. HMG47 (or whatever it’s called) will always be available in BTB, each of the maps has a warthog (sometimes 2) or turrets in some odd location.
Shotguns are in the majority of Arena maps, all you have to hope for is that it’s the one you need, which is a 50/50.
A mauler always seems to exist in BTB as well, same as shock rifles, battle rifles, and the VK47.
I get that “Getting kills with the skull 3 times in oddball” is a pain, that “Killing someone attacking your zone” takes some luck to get the game mode, but again, not all of these are luck based, put in some effort.
At the same time, these aren’t freebies, they’re challenges, they’re supposed to be challenging to some extent… however big that extent is seems to be wildly inconsistent I will admit, but not enough to warrant a free challenge swap when 343i should focus it’s priorities elsewhere.
